At the Physcriatric Crisis Center we have trauma peer support that sits down in the waiting room 5 nights a week for individuals and their families to assist in filling out paperwork or help in any way possible. These peers have experience and know what you and your family are facing. We are proud to offer this service in this time of need. PCC volunteers are former recipients of mental health services who offer their experience, strength and hope to individuals utilizing PCC (Psychiatric Crisis Center) services. Peer volunteers are available to offer support in the waiting area, during intake and throughout the screening process. In addition individuals receiving services at PCC may be referred to Project A.B.L.E. for additional peer support and/or training opportunities.
Volunteers are currently available at PCC, Mon-Sat- 4:00-8:00 P.M.
